373 Ruthven Street
Located in Ruthven Street, this building was once a Coles supermarket and since then has enjoyed a number of tenants. The building has main street access from Ruthven Street and car parking access at the rear. Quite surprisingly the floor inside the existing shop was constructed to match the ground levels at the front AND rear – 1.2 metres of difference in a single floor level.
This job was four projects in one. StruXi was engaged by the new owners of the building to adapt the footprint to suit multiple smaller uses.
Whilst the Ruthven Street façade was designed to cater for a large format retailer with a secondary entrance intended for a food or coffee shop, the rear street frontage has become home to a gym and a beauty school.
